The Fluxus

If you’re headed to Rome, ARTExpress has a couple of suggestions for your must-see list. Since its December opening, the White Gallery life-style, shopping, exhibition and dining complex in Piazza Marconi has caused quite a stir. Three stunning floors house numerous exhibition spaces, four restaurants, and luxury retailers, including Yogi Yamamoto, Jill Sander, Stella McCartney… and more. The centerpiece is a light sculpture called The Fluxus, by renowned designer Karim Rashid and artist Michela Vianello. In five colors, studded with sparkling halogen lights, it is an undulating ceiling made of woven Murano glass. Suspended and fluid, it flows above your head creating a truly magical environment.
